• We have a new game of the week on TouchArcade, and it’s called Le Parker: Sous Chef Extraordinaire. The latter was released at some point last week, and players will find this retro-style platformer in-store for no less than $2.99. Pixel art and a soothing background music will be on the menu. Check out the trailer for a better idea of what to expect!

  • Released earlier this month, Rayman Classic came with a price and other in-app purchases. This came across as a pretty unfair move, if you ask me! The platformer was launched on both iOS and Android; making it accessible to players across major stores. However, with the coming of Black Friday Sales, things were soon to change! Ubisoft turned the game into a free-to-play; announcing that this will be a permanent move. Nevertheless, in-app purchases stayed untouched! Check it out and do share your thoughts!

  • Only days remain until we finally meet the platformer king on mobile! That’s none other than Super Mario, the one whose lady is always getting kidnapped by evil turtles! However, the forthcoming release is already being challenged and Nitrome is that latest to join the race! The app developer has indeed surprised us all with the launch of Hop Swap. The latter is on the App Store for free and its unique feature is the possibility to swap worlds once in-game. Sound good, right? Check its trailer for a glimpse of the action!

  • Folks into platform gaming will be served with Big Bucket’s latest app! The latter has been named Stagehand and it will land on the App Store very soon. Do note that the title will be a reverse platformer, and this basically means that gamers will control the ground rather than the character. This is likely to be one of the season’s most original experience and its trailer will tell you more!

  • HovercrashFollowing the success of Tiltagon, Finnish developer Kiemura is now ready to deliver an even better app! It has been named Hovercrash and it will be a fast-paced avoidance racer. Even if it’s not a totally original concept, the game makers will try to balance things out with great 3D graphics, smooth controls and awesome-looking spaceships. Do note that Kiemura’s app is presently in its refinement phase and it will hopefully be seen on iOS before the end of 2016.
